Archival Boxes

Folders & Cases
Our range of additional services include a choice of buckram or leather and cloth covered cases in up to 24 colour shades; carrying handles; straps and buckles, for newspaper bindings. As an alternative to full sewn binding, we can provide strong boxes to store the loose unbound newspapers which will certain keep them tidy. Newspaper folders are also made for some libraries who prefer the flexibility of this form of storage which enables the collections to be progressively built up while always securing the papers from damage.

Solander Boxes
Hand built to protect from dust and dirt and any damage from shelving. Suitable for books, loose papers, specimens, seals and newspapers. Acid-free paper linings. Spine lettering if required

Phase Boxes
Custom built from Archival Box Card, this acid free book container is designed to provide an acid-free microenvironment for material in temporary storage prior to full conservation treatment at a later date.

Safeguard Museum Boxes
The ultimate solander box for prints and drawings, documents and books provides maximum accident protection in a stable acid-neutral environment. Covered in waterproof or archival buckram in a range of colours and spine lettered in gold.

Loose Leaf Binders
Sturdy, cloth covered boards with screw pillar and post securing mechanisms of variable spine thicknesses. Ideal form of storage for letters, encapsulated documents, plans and maps or for guarded material.
