The benefits of scanning are significant and can be used to reproduce copies for retail, sale or loan of:

• Out of copyright books, documents, maps and registers
• Works still in copyright, but where permission has been given for it to be reproduced
• Original handcrafted works like hand-written short stories, poetry and art

Content can be changed and amended:

• Remove blemishes and discolouration from the surface of paper
• Increase the size of text without losing print quality
• Incorporate oversized images into any publication (e.g., Fold-out maps can be resized to fit onto one page)
• Effectively reproduce colour images in traditional black and white publications.
• Edit original text to update or amend mistakes through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) correction techniques.

Our skilled staff will carefully remove books from their original bindings to allow them to be scanned. Completed scans can be digitally printed to publication quality and bound at our professional book production facility.

We offer a number of binding options including limp, paperback, hardback, printed paper cases and handcrafted leather bindings.

Our design staff can also help with book design, typesetting and editorial services.

If you opt not to have physical copies made we can produce versions on CD or DVD which can be customised with your own branding.
