Periodical Binding
Periodical binding is still the best way to protect journals and magazines from damage caused by handling. It also reduces the likelihood of the loss of single issues. Journals are generally bound on an annual basis, but thicker issues may require binding more frequently.
Select from the following binding options:
- Removal of covers
- Removal of adverts
- Placement of indexes
- Placement of contents pages
Journals are stitched to produce a strong, long-lasting binding and covered using waterproof Library Buckram, which is available in a variety of colours.
Titles are foil-blocked on the spine and cover. Additional information can also be added like the date and author to aid clear identification and give a professional finish to the journals.
