Jan Burns
Deputy General Manager/Conservation Manager
Jan has more than 40 years experience with Riley Dunn & Wilson Ltd. in bookbinding and conservation.
Since March 2007 Jan has been managing the daily binding throughput and quality of all the consignments processed by the Company in Falkirk.
Over the years Jan has built up a vast amount of knowledge and expertise in all aspects of bookbinding and paper conservation and has worked closely with her manager for over 30 years.
Colin McArthur
Binding Production Supervisor
Colin joined the Company as an apprentice in 1978 and went on to win several awards for bookbinding. He attended a two week summer school for bookbinding run by the renowned English expert Bernard Middleton.
Colin has gained the qualifications to enable him to become a SQA Vocational Training and Development member which allows him to assess trainees currently working through bookbinding training schemes.
He holds the IOSH Institute of Occupational Health and Safety Management Certificate to enable him to manage the company Health and Safety procedures for compliance with national standards.
