Binding The process of joining together loose pages or sections of a book. Books can either be perfect or notch bound. A book’s binding generally refers to the inner spine area where pages have been stitched or glued together. |

Boards Grey or white boards are used to make the sturdy casing, which is covered with cloth or leather to create a solid cover. |

Book Block The sewn pages or sections of the book before binding takes place. |
