Charles Dunn’s profile continued...
Always indulgent to take on the challenges of running businesses, Charles is acutely aware of the responses needed to face the ever continuing changing buying patterns, the trends in access, formats and retention of modern and historical information and the challenges presented by the general underfunding for preserving and archiving of the national written heritage. Charles sees improved levels of customer relations achieved through both traditional and contemporary communication channels and networking as important keys to unlocking the fiscal blocks which tend to restrict the essential conservation work that the MLA sector needs but at the same time is keen to embrace the opportunities that the new digital age offers.
In any spare time, Charles enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and despite the adverse micro-climate of his Pennine land, endures the chores of maintaining the garden and indulging other outdoor and cultural pursuits.
