Book Repairs and Restoration Our service takes a sympathetic approach to the careful restoration of books bound in either paper, cloth, leather or vellum. An assessment of required work is carried out and agreed before work commences. All our craftspeople are working to archival standards and as such will retain as much of the original bindings as possible. Restoration work can be carried out at both our binderies and our Conservation Studio based in our Falkirk bindery can conduct more specialist book and paper treatments.
